This Public Policy Handbook outlines public policies of the National Pork Producers Council. Each policy is identified by originating body. BOD XX/XX/XX represents the date the NPPC Board of Directors agreed on the given policy. References are also made to the Delegate Body of NPPC passing policy (year and resolution number are given as reference.) PIH indicates a policy which had been established prior to 2001. PIH indicates “Pork Issues Handbook” which contains information on issues and made reference to given public policy established by NPPC. The handbook contains only Public Policies relevant to current NPPC programming. Specific position statements established prior to 2001 related to check-off funded programming was transferred to the National Pork Board during the transition of 2001. This document was requested to be established.
