Audrey Adamson
Director of Government Relations


Audrey Adamson is Director of Government Relations for the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC). She is responsible for issue monitoring, assisting in policy development and advocating, on behalf of NPPC members, before Congress, federal agencies, and non-governmental organizations.

Prior to joining NPPC, Adamson served as the Washington Office Director for the 13-state Midwestern Governors' Conference. Before working with the Governor's Conference, she managed several programs related to the ongoing environmental clean up throughout the Department of Energy's nuclear weapons complex. Most recently, she managed a national project working with state and local governments to implement radiological transportation emergency preparedness plans. Earlier in her career, Adamson worked on international trade issues related to the steel, machine tool, and semiconductor industries.

Adamson holds an undergraduate degree in political science and history from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and a Master of Public Administration degree from The George Washington University. While pursuing her graduate degree, she was awarded the Ford Motor Company Congressional Fellowship.
