Dave
Warner
Director of Communications
Dave Warner is Director of Communications for the National
Pork Producers Council. He is responsible for developing
NPPC's communications strategies and disseminating news on
the organization’s public-policy program.
Warner previously served as a spokesman for and in various
communications capacities with several Washington, DC-based
associations, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce,
National Rifle Association, Mortgage Bankers Association and
Judicial Watch, a government watchdog. For nearly 12 years,
he was editor of the U.S. Chamber’s legislative publication
and also was senior legislative and political editor for
Nation’s Business, the organization’s monthly magazine.
At the NRA, Warner was editor of the association’s
legislative newspaper. He also was a free-lance
sportswriter, covering Washington, DC-area professional and
college teams for The Associated Press and United
Press International.
A Washington, D.C., native who now resides in Maryland,
Warner received his bachelor’s degree in mass communications
from Towson State University in Towson, MD.
