                           Who Should Apply?

 

NPPC seeks students in their junior or senior year of college seeking a degree in agriculture, animal health, animal science, communications, economics, environment, international trade, journalism, nutrition or public policy. Graduate students studying veterinary medicine, law, political science, journalism or agriculture also desirable candidates.

 

Applicants should also have:

• Self-drive and strong motivation to succeed

• Problem solving abilities
• Outstanding record of achievement in current/past positions
• Creativity, persistence, and tenacity
• Effective time management, organizational skills and work methods
• Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently
• Strong work ethic
• Strong sense of urgency oriented toward achieving monthly goals
