Groups Urge Congress To Pass Korea Trade Deal

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 2, 2007 – The Agriculture Coalition for U.S.-Korea Free Trade, which includes the National Pork Producers Council and 33 other organizations, today sent a letter to Congress urging lawmakers to approve the KORUS Free Trade Agreement.
 

NPPC Regrets Potsdam Collapse; Urges TPA Renewal
WASHINGTON, D.C., June 21, 2007 – The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) expressed frustration at the collapse of the talks between the trade ministers from the so-called G-4; United States, European Union, Brazil and India, which fell apart today in Potsdam, Germany.

Trade Deal With South Korea Good For U.S. Pork
WASHINGTON, D.C., June 20, 2007 – Exports of U.S. pork to South Korea under the free trade agreement negotiated between that country and the United States will be double the amount currently shipped to America’s No. 1 pork export market, Japan, the National Pork Producers Council today told the International Trade Commission.
